What is the Pilot Employer Trust Program and Identity Validation Policy?

  1. This program provides a safe and trustworthy platform for all users looking to enter the marketplace. It confirms customer identity by ascertaining the appropriate documentation to protect against the most common threats such as fraud, money laundering and inadvertent financial support of terrorism.
  2. We feel that the Pilot Employer Trust Program (PETP) is necessary to guarantee our members a safe online working experience each and every day. Furthermore, it is not uncommon for our service providers to work with us on the condition that we conduct thorough checks on customer identity.

How do I complete the PETP to verify my identity?

  1. We are happy to help you become a verified user of UAVLance. Just submit a valid (not expired) government issued ID card, keycode verification and two recent utility bills or bank statements to prove your address. If two of one is too difficult, we will accept

What if the details on my account do not match the name on my ID or documentation?

  1. If the details on the UAVLance account differ from the information on your documentation, users will be required to submit the application for review. When you are prompted to confirm your details during the verification process, double check your information to ensure everything matches.

What happens if I'm not able to pass the PETP?

  1. Accounts that fail the verification process will have limitations placed on them, or be suspended temporarily until things are resolved. This is a security measure taken very seriously to ensure the protection of each one of our valued users. Those who falsify their documents are committing a crime, and we will report offenders.

ID Verification

  1. We encourage sellers to complete the identity verification process so they can promote what they bring to the table to potential buyers. It is a fairly simple way to join and reap the benefits of our trusted community. ID verification facilitates a faster process of payments and a faster service needed to resolve account issues and disputes. Users are free to complete their verification whenever it is convenient, but KYE has the right to request verification of identity in order to adhere to the User Agreement.
  2. Verified account users are required to submit:
    • A government issued photo ID to prove identity
    • A photo of you in which you hold the unique code that we will provide. This is a keycode verification that needs to be situated next to your personal ID.
    • Two different copies of a recent bill (electric, gas, cable, water, or bank statement) to prove your home address.
  3. Complete the following steps to successfully verify identity:
    • Step 1 - Proof of identity

      1. Review your account to make sure the details are up to date. (Go to Profile > Settings > Account Details).
    • 2. Confirm your name and DOB and upload a color scan of your most current government issued photo ID.
    • 3. Click on the ‘Verify my Identity’ link located on your Account Details Page.
    • 4. Type in the ID type, name on the ID, ID number and date of expiration
    • 5. Press ‘Save and Continue’
    • Step 2 - Keycode Verification

    • 1.Write the unique keycode provided to you on a piece of paper (or print it).
    • 2.For those who opt to write it down, be sure to write "Keycode Verification for UAVLance.com:" followed by the code.
    • 3.Take a photo of yourself holding the keycode and your photo ID.
    • 4.Your face, keycode and ID must all be easy to discern
    • 5. Upload the photo, then press Save and Continue.
    • Step 3 - Proof of address

      1.Verify your address and enter a preferred contact phone number. Be sure to set up a security phone number by simply entering a unique code that will be sent to you for verification via text message or email.
    • 2. Upload a color based scan of two distinct bills or bank statements to prove the residential address. (Accepted documentation can be seen below).
    • 3.Provide the institution's name, document type and the date it was issued.
    • 4. Click ‘Complete’ to officially submit for review
    • Our verification team will try to review your request on the same day, however, it may take up to 3 days. We will contact you immediately once the review process is complete.

    • Proof of identity requirements:

      A color scanned image or a digital photo of a government issued photo IDAcceptable forms of Identification:
    • 1.Passport.2.Driver's License.3.National ID card.Additional requirements:1. A current ID (not expired).
    • 2. Image must be at least 500 x 300 pixels in order to be acceptable.
    • 3.Upload a color scan image or digital photo that is high quality.
    • 4. Cropping, adjusting colors and other photo image alterations are not allowed.
    • 5. Include photo, signature, name and DOB.
    • 6. Hand written is not acceptable.
    • 7. Your ID number has to match the ID number that you entered in the Verification Center.
    • 8. Your name on the ID has to match the name entered in the Verification Center.
    • 9. Acceptable languages include English or English character sets (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian or Romanian).
